 MAHARAI.

1Chr. 27:13 tells us, "the tenth captain for the tenth month was Maharai..." Maharai is Hebrew name which means impetuous. The captain of each month was prophetically relevant with the month correspondingly. 

So this month asks for our diligence, carefulness, vigilance etc. We should avoid beeing hasty as the people of faith. True believers should not be hasty unless they hear and believe (Isa. 28:16). We should not be too hasty to forget the use of God-given mental powers in any of our endeavours this month of October.

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED THIS MONTH:

(1). Hopefulness: 

Be hopeful for victory at last. Don't accept defeat (Pro. 13:12; Rom. 5:5; Jer. 29:11).

(2). Prayerfulness: 

Pray harder and more often than before (1Ths. 5:17). Don't allow anything that can hinder your prayers this month like doubting and wrath (1Ths. 2:8; James 1:20).

(3). Strength for Speed:

This month you need to quickly respond to good calls. Why? Favour will locate you this month. This month God Himself will send you good speed. Good things will not delay in your life any more (Gen. 24:12). To have strength for speed, wait on the Lord (Isa. 40:31). To have strength for speed, you need to come near to God (Isa. 41:1). 

(4). Vigilance:

Another thing we need this is vigilance. It means being watchful. When someone lacks vigilance, devil will be able to access several advantages in that person's life (1Pet. 5:8-9). 

PRAYER OF FAITH:

(1). The Almighty God will give me the abilities of the spirit to my spirit to see things ahead of time and season, He will make my vigilance heightened, He will fortify my mental powers until His divinity fully manifests in me in the name of Jesus Christ. PRAYER!

(2). The God of revelation and the Father of light will lift me up above all darkness and confusions in the name of Jesus Christ. PRAYER!

(3). The Almighty God has brought all the demons that are employed for fulfilling evil works this October month, under my the soles of my feet in the name of Jesus Christ.

(4). Father, I decree I shall not be a victim of evil works of evil doers and of the children of disobedience in the name of Jesus Christ.

(5). Father, I receive the answers to all these prayer by faith in the name of Jesus Christ.
